Galaxy S6: Shortcuts not landing on Home screen despite settings

Wondering if I'm the only one, who's experiencing this issue.
I have about 5 screens, with the middle one set as a home screen. I've set in google play app to put a shortcut of new apps to home screen, but it actually add them to the very left one. The same is happening when trying to create a shortcut for contact - pin to home screen and I find them all on the very left screen instead.
Double-press of home button takes me correctly to my home screen...
Any ideas?

I switched from S4 and I must say, I'm very disappointed so far

I don't have an S6 but you can do this manually if you want just go to the app drawer and long press the app of your choice and it should show your home screen just drop it anywhere you want .

hi, thank you for your reply, but that's not exactly the reply I was hoping for. I know how to add shortcuts manually, I only wanted to know, if it's only me having the above described issue and if someone found solution or cause of it already.
