How do I get rid of the "Message expired or not available?"

I woke up this morning to the "message expired or not available" thing on my screen and cannot get rid of it. How do I make it go away?

Might be an unsent MMS. Go through your texts and see if there is an unsent one, delete it, clear the cache for the app, and see if that clears it.

It's a pop up window...not a notification on the status bar, and it is continual, as if I have 100's of messages that have expired or no longer available.:-\
