samsung charging

After work, I'd say my battery life is around 20%, so when I get home I'll stick it on charge, and put music on while I get ready for the gym. Lately while I've been doing this, my battery life doesn't increase. My phone has to be totally idle for the battery to charge.

I'm no expert but, that cannot be right? Can it?

Check to see if the usb plug is inserted all the way in. Also check to see if the adapter is fully inserted in the outlet.

Try another charger, maybe you have a faulty one.

I just swapped the lead, and the percentage has gone up 5% in a couple of minutes.
I should have done that weeks ago...
