Just upgraded from the S4 to the S6. As a college student, I often take naps, but in places like libraries and whatnot. Cause of that, I don't put my alarm on, but with my S4, I would turn on a vibrate option in my timer and set it like that.

With the lack of the menu button in the S6, I see no conceivable way to do this in the native S6 app. It may seem dumb to you, but it's relatively important to me.

    With that in mind...
    • Is there a way in the native app to do this that I'm missing? Or...
    • Is there another app that can do this? I've heard mixed things about Timely (persistent notification, not consistent) and I don't want to pay for anything.

    Thanks.

When you set an alarm in the native app, it says alarm type. Click that and you can select vibrate there.

Yes, you can set an Alarm, not a timer, for vibrate only on the S6 unlike the s4. When setting the alarm, hit the options button, then change the type from sound to vibrate.
