Just made the jump from my trusty S3 to an S6! I usually try to conserve the battery life of my devices, so I'm used to keeping power saving mode on pretty much always. Since I know it's always enabled, I want to get rid of the notification in the drop down menu that's just stating the obvious: "Power saving mode enabled."

I've tried long pressing on the notification (leads to a system app called "Settings Reveiver") and looking for the Power Saving system app settings manually (only found one called "Power Sharing"), but every viable option seems to have the "Show Notifications" option enabled and grayed out so I can't change it. Is there any way to get rid of the annoying notification?

Running 5.1.1 and it's a company phone, so I'd rather not root.

Unfortunately it seems that's one of the things you can't get rid of other than rooting/flashing hacks or a different ROM, just like you can't get rid of the High Volume warning when you try to go past a certain point (at least this warning only shows up once per reboot).

No viable option unless you are rooted.
