It only happens with 1 person in contacts. We will text all day with no program but when I send or receive text after 11pm is pops up under same day and all text after that will show same day.
Example Saturday October 31, 2015 and at 11pm a new text thread with pop up under Saturday October 31, 2015 & all text will show under that date until 11pm and then it will change to finally Sunday although it will be Monday at midnight.
I hope that makes sense. I have a galaxy s6.

    Welcome.
Go into Settings, then Date & Time.
Make sure your Time Zone, and everything else there, is correct.

I'm having the same issue, but it affects EVERY contact and thread.
    Here's a picture:

I'm using the stock Messages app that came with the phone. And I've checked and rechecked time zones, DST enabled, clearing cache, etc. My phone just performed a software update a few days ago, and that still didn't fix it. It's currently running version 5.1.1.

I'm not sure what else to try, besides a factory reset. But with the great likelihood that even THAT will not solve the problem, I'm not willing to go that route.

To me, it seems like it's a programming issue with the Messages app itself, but I'm not sure how to go about reporting that or possibly updating it.

This is incredibly annoying. Suggestions please??!
