No sound - software issue
Good luck with this one guys...
Here is my sound/media issue:
-calls and speaker phone WORK
-no sound from anywhere else (music files, alarms, ringtones, online videos)
-videos are not playing properly, no matter the source (the ticker for the media will run super fast, like 2x or 3x and then also hit walls where it is just frozen or a still shot... All with no sound)
-voicemail app does the same sped up thing and plays no sound. However I can listen to my voicemails the old way by calling and pressing # and my password(As noted that calls and speaker phone work)
- the kicker... Everything works perfectly fine when connected to a Bluetooth device
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated guys. I've tried turning it on in safe mode and wiping the cache. Also had best buy update my software.
Also had best buy reflash my phone. Still nothing. It worked for a couple days and then stopped again. As it stopped I heard a crackling that I've been reading other people have experienced. Not a hardware issue though. Calls and speaker still perfectly fine
