Water damage: touch sensitivity is decreased
I dropped my Samsung Galaxy S6 in water for 2 or 3 seconds. I quickly turned it off, shook it to drain water, placed it into a paper bag, and then placed the paper bag into a bag of full of silica gel.
After 24 hours, I tried to turn it on, showed a message that the charge is 0%. Plugged the charger and after 5 minutes I could turn it on. Everything was functional. But, the sensitivity of the touch screen was lowered significantly. So, I turned it off and place it into the silica gel bag for 48 hours. Now, I have turned it on and the touch sensitivity issue still is persisting.
The touch sensitivity issue is that I need to hold my finger more than a normal condition to sense it. It is annoying especially when I am typing or playing.
What should I do? Do I need to still wait to water evaporate? Is there any way to fix it without opening the phone? What should I do step by step?
