I have a galaxy s6 and washed it yesterday. I put it in rice overnight and it showed fully charged but would not turn on.

I am only stressed about my pictures. My mom recently passed away and I have precious pictures. I did not back up.

I went down to us cellular today and the guy told me to wrap in paper towel and put back in rice for three days. The waiting will kill me.

What are my chances of saving the pics? Honestly!!!

What are they saved on? The back of phone will not come off.

Is there anything I can do? Don't care about phone, just pics.

    Thank you!!!

Welcome to Android Central! That's a tough situation. Read this gude: http://forums.androidcentral.com/amb...e-got-wet.html

If the phone doesn't power on, it may be hard to retrieve the data. You'd probably have to bring it to a data recovery specialist, who might charge hundreds of dollars.
