Marshmallow email and text problem Speech to Text with power saving on: new line, new paragraph

I noticed with power saving on with Android Marshmallow that some speech to text commands do not work in an email, namely:
New Line
New paragraph

If you shut off power saving and then close the speech box and go back in by pressing microphone icon, then these commands will work

I am on Verizon.

Can anyone confirm this on email and text?
