Marshmallow Screen Battery Drain

My battery seems to be draining much much faster since upgrading to Marshmallow. The Number 1 listed on my battery use is always screen. I dont remember screen battery drain being a problem at all with Lolipop and I always had auto brightness turned on. Anyone having battery drain much worse after the update?

Marshmallow reconfigures how Android tracks battery stats. Previously whenever an app was on the screen, any drain from the screen would be attributed to that app. Now, whenever the screen is on the battery drain will be attributed to the screen, independent of what app was currently being displayed.

What you're seeing is normal. It's just a new way of classifying the battery drain data.

I figured that. Still my battery does seem to drain much faster than when I was on Lolipop. I could just be the fact I can't turn the battery percentage indicator off my lock screen and I see how much is being used now.
