notifications

Hello my problem is that ringtones and notification sounds from the zedge app arnt appearing in my list of sounds that appears when i try to set text notification sound.the phone should ask if i want to choose from zedge or system but it dosnt.only system sounds are appearing. phone isnt set to system sounds by default.i cant set the text sound from the zedge app itself only ringtone and email.hope someone can help.thankyou.

Huh. Once you save, they should be in your system ringtones. Have you tried rebooting your device?

Also maybe try uninstalling and reinstalling zedge.

Hello sydney cooper thanks for your reply.ive discovered if you set the notification in the zedge app it does save it to the system sounds.i think marshmallow has changed the default choosing method as you was asked if you wanted to access zedge notifications or system,my phone is not doing that.it could be that zedge isnt updated for marshmallow.im sure zedge havnt updated there app for ages.hopefully the phones not at fault ive only had it a week.
