I have been an IOS owner for a few years and it is ok. I would like to get an S6 or even S7 but have a MAJOR selling point.

    1. I tether at home for internet. My phone is my only internet and it works fine with my iPhone 6s.

My question is can anyone comment, whether first hand or just knowledge on the speeds of the 2 phones in regards to LTE, Wi-Fi, etc. It is kind of hard to check for myself because I have to sell my phone and actually buy a Samsung and cannot afford any mistakes.

I can't speak directly for the S6, but I have a Note 4 on T-Mobile, and I can pull speeds that are close to what the LTE speedtest here are using the tether.

Ok thanks. I have been watching lots of You Tube videos on speed tests and they look very close but I worry about tethering. Not much talk online about it because not many do it.

The S6 supports B30, B29 and Carrier Aggregation along with the 6S. Either will be phenomenal.
