GPS and compass aren't working.

I have 6.0.1 right now and not rooted. Monday gps and my compass were spot on. Pointed north and had me in a good general area. Today (in the same location) my compass points everywhere but north and gps has me about 100 yards from where I am. It keeps saying searching for location. What could the issue be? I tried a few gps apps with no luck and tried calibrating my compass with no luck.

Just a thought make sure your location didn't get turned off by a glitch.
Settings, Google, location, make sure it's on. Also location method - GPS, wifi, and mobile networks.
Restart phone may help also.

Tried those with no change. I do also have Finding Location notification. Is my gps just not finding me? If it knows my general area I would think it is working, just not accurately

Almost sounds like something is blocking your GPS signal such as tall buildings or metal buildings. Try a different location?
