Rogers S6 (Canada) finally has Marshmallow (6.0.1)!

To my fellow Canadians, I just want to mention that my phone downloaded the Marshmallow update for my S6 through Rogers.

I'm installing now!

It works well. Wifi quit working for me, but I did a full wipe to start over with a fresh 6.01 and that fixed the Wifi issue. All seems well with it.

I read that Samsung and AT&T will be updating the S6 to Android 7 at some point. So maybe in another few years Rogers will do so as well...

Yeah, I'm quite impressed with it! I haven't had any issues, I just did a quick restart after the installation.

It's funny, I've wanted it so badly based on principle, yet not a ton has changed. Little tweaks here and there, but basically the same. I always get frustrated with Android's subpar method of updating the OS (I'm looking at you, manufacturers and carriers), but we're basically at a point where our phones are fairly capable. We aren't behind on major features like we would be 5 years ago.
