S6 Black Screen, Blue White Pulsing Light - Hard & soft reset not working!

Hi Guys

Thanks in advance for any help on this...

Used my phone last night as normal, no problem. Plugged in to charge overnight - this morning, its totally frozen. The screen is black and the notification light is pulsing blue/white/blue/white continuously.

I have tried all of the following with no luck:

Volume down + power button
Volume up + power button
Volume up + power + home
Volume down + power + home
All buttons together

I've tried all of these many many times. Also tried with sim in and sim out. Also tried with it plugged into my laptop and unplugged.

I'm pretty sure there was a software update due, I hadn't installed it but I wonder if it did it automatically overnight and had screwed the phone.

Any ideas welcome!

I had the frozen screen / blue light problem. What finally worked for me was with power unplugged, hold the power, volume down & home button simultaneously until something changes on the screen. ( About 35 seconds )
As to why it locked up remains a mystery, I suspect apps not so friendly with each other. Hope this help
