I bought a sprint galaxy s6 from someone at the flea market and when I took it home to try and set it up. I keep getting this message.
Attention
power off your device, insert the service provider UICC that came with the device, then power on the device .

Problem is the people who sold me this phone failed to mention this problem with the phone. What can I do to make it work. Needless to say I gave a pretty penny for thus s6 and would like to get some use out of it before it becomes a complete dinasour.
thank you
stephanie

UICC stands for Universal Integrated Circuit Card. It is a new generation SIM (Subscriber Identification Module) included in cell phones or notebooks used in some high speed wireless 3G networks such as those of AT&T or T-Mobile. The UICC identifies you to your wireless carrier so they know your plan and services.

I think it's asking for the original carrier branded sim card, OR the device has a fault and you've been had.
