How come my Galaxy S6 will no longer messages to my Galaxy S6 as it has been doing, normally

Hi,

We have had these two phones since Feb of last year (2016)
and, everything has been just fine until, quite recently, the
S6edge does not seem to want to send messages to the S4
(we can ring ok, it's just the messages won't come through )

Or, maybe it is just tat the S4 has decided, for some reason,
to not accept messages from my S6 any more ??

Any info would be good and a 'Cure' would be brilliant
