I have a VZW S6 and updated to Nougat this morning.

A few months ago I encrypted my phone, but in doing so somehow Android messed up my bootup lockscreen pattern and my OS lockscreen pattern. I know my decrypt bootup lockscreen pattern, but my OS lockscreen pattern is not the same, so I've always used my backup PIN in order to login to my phone for the first time, then fingerprint after that.

Today after the Nougat update, the option to enter the backup PIN on first login attempt to OS after bootup is GONE! I have no idea what the OS login pattern is and have no way to get into the OS with my fingerprint either.

My phone is booted up and decrypted, is there anyway to get my files off (without being able to login to the OS) before I wipe the device clean? OR better yet, any way to bring back the backup PIN?

    Thanks.
