OH's Galaxy S6 screen display just died for 4th time in 2 years. The phone has not been dropped and indeed lives in a rigid crush proof case. The screen is not cracked, it is just that the display no longer works, it goes fuzzy, not the black screen of death but more like resolution has dissolved. In each case it was lying on a flat surface and ok when it was put down and dead when he picked it up again.
He got the phone new in 2015 and the display has since packed up in October 2015, March 2016, June 2017 and now September 2017.
The only common factor he has noticed is that the battery seem to be losing its charge very quickly in the days beforehand and it seems to be getting hotter than usual.
Anyone got any ideas?
