The Galaxy S7 Active does not have an LCD - it's a Super AMOLED panel. Yes we understand what you're talking about but even so, being accurate with the technology and the hardware would probably help you along the way.

The Galaxy S7 Active has only been on the market since June so they're all basically about 4 months old and Samsung offers a 1 year parts/labor guarantee: the only reason you might not be able to get warranty service would either be you got it someplace you can't use as proof of purchase (craigslist/etc) or you can't make the claim because you did actually break it yourself and it wasn't accidental.

Anyway, there don't appear to be any GS7A parts available at this time, it could be a few more months before they become available on eBay, eTradeSupply, and other websites that specialize in such hardware. If it's damaged you don't have much choice in the matter except either wait for the parts to become available or contact Samsung and pay what they ask (I think it's like $270+ to replace the Super AMOLED panel as a repair job).

Ok thanks, I appreciate the repsonse. I bought the phone from AT&T and I had called them about a repair, although they said that since I did not purchase the extended warranty that I have no options. I dropped the phone and water got into it, so I have a broke screen and my touchscreen wont even work! My buttons work, but that doesn't help me much. I even asked AT&T if they can replace the screen and have me pay for it and they said that's not an option because all repairs go through some third party warranty company. Do you have any information on who to contact at Samsung to get the panel repaired?

Register the device with Samsung if you haven't already, then wait a day or two and then start up an online chat and explain the situation. The support rep should be able to get you to the right department but I can't say what that is precisely. I had some issues with my Galaxy S4 Active a few years ago - the back panel clips snapped off and it wouldn't stay in place - and I contacted them, spent a few days (several chats lasting up to an hour) and got really nowhere because the device had barely been out a month when it happened.

AT&T had no spare back covers or spare parts at all so I had no choice but to contact Samsung. After a week I ended up sending an email to the CEO (seriously) and got his executive secretary to respond, then I sent another email, and another, and finally they just got sick of me emailing them and they sent me a replacement back cover.

I'm not saying they made it difficult for me and I'm not saying they'll make things difficult for you (mainly because you caused the damage apparently) but they should still be able to help you get it fixed even if they have to charge you to do it.

    Hope this helps...

Yeah, with AT&T, if you break the phone, your only option for a replacement is if you had insurance. Some people laugh at me for getting it, but I've had it on every phone I've bought from them. I've replaced at least 5 iPhones with it. If you call Samsung, they will give you the option of sending your phone in for repair. But it will take 4-6 weeks plus the cost of the repair.
