S7 Active constantly reboots last night and again tonight

Tuesday evening my S7 Active began rebooting automatically and continued to do so. It wasn't getting to the point where a user could use the phone. This became annoying so I did some googling, then went multiple times into the boot manager, each time deleting the cache and then rebooting. It would usually say installing update, then fail, then continue rebooting. I tried looking at system logs via boot manager and wasn't able to discern the cause or how to fix it. So I moved the phone to the other room for the rest of the night.

This Wednesday morning the phone was working great again.

Now again tonight, the phone is starting to constantly reboot. At times it indicates installing an update, but fails and continues to reboot I've moved it into the other room.

Any ideas on the root cause and how to resolve this?

Hook up to a pc and try to get a restart.

Does it also happen in Safe Mode? https://www.hardreset.info/devices/samsung/samsung-g891a-galaxy-s7-active/faq/safe-mode/. If so, you may need to reinstall the firmware, using either Smart Switch (http://www.sammobile.com/forum/showthread.php?t=29914) or Odin (http://forums.androidcentral.com/am...w-flash-stock-rom-via-odin-new-interface.html).
