Renowned developer, chainfire, has come up with a kernel auto root for the Galaxy S7 Edge, Global, Duos and Canadian octa core models, G935F, G935FD and G935W8. See...

This is for competent and experienced users. Please read all installation instructions, carefully and thoroughly, before proceeding.

This will trip the Knox Security flag and prevent the use of Samsung Pay. Rooting your phone will disable OTA updates and also via Kies/Smart Switch. If you are rooted, you will need to download and flash future updates via Odin.

GAME CHANGER for me...unless I win the S7 Edge!
I have rooted my last 3 phones ( LG G2 G3 G4) and will continue to do so.
So much more flexibility plus removing bloatware does make the phone faster.

Hi I did this process and my s7 seems to be rooted. However I installed the app Hide My Root and it asks for an SU binary but it isn't installed and that it can't find the SU binary. How do I get it on my phone so I can use this app?
