Hey guys,
So finally made the transition from IOS to Android and I'm looking for some advice.

I bought a preowned s7edge and went to install knoxx to find it says it cannot be used.

Long and short of it is that the previous owner rooted the handset and I wasn't aware of this.its not rooted now as I down loaded and ap to show what the state it is now in.

So is it worth keeping the handset or send it back? What will rooting do to it? I'm aware it affects the warranty which I'm not too bothered about. So is it just knoxx I won't be able to use ?

Thanks for your help and apologies for the newbie question

I would first try to use the samsung switch tool to do a full on download of the os and firmware. That should make it 100% factory again. When you root, you can "unroot" but still leave traces in the system, which knoxx can see as tampering and won't enable.
