Got a Samsung TV ordered S7edge. Can these 2 do anything special?

There is one very cool thing they can do... that Samsung, for some reason, decided to strip out of their software (in theory they'll add it back, but for now, it's not there). Newer TVs can do 'reverse' screen mirroring, which means you can stream your TV contents into your phone as long as you're on the same WiFi network (VERY useful when you, errrr, have to go 'somewhere' really quick but don't wanna miss out on what's happening on your show or movie).

The newest version of the app, Smart View, doesn't have this feature anymore, but if you can find an older version (2.x) and side-load it onto your new phone, you should be able to do it.

It's also easier to mirror your phone's screen onto your TV and share files, videos, pictures, etc., but it's not something that you can't do with other devices...it's just easier when it's within the Samsung family.

Where you really benefit is on a Samsung Tablet or a computer using SideSync, since you can mirror your phone AND control it in any of those devices remotely and share files between them and even get notifications (and act on some of them).
