What is the best Micro SD card for the Samsung Galaxy S7/S7 Edge?

looking to buy best Read/Writes speed micro sd for my samsung galaxy s7 edge pre ordered in att. so which micro sd has optimal performance with out bottle-neck to use on new phones , i dont want to buy highspeed cards if that s7 cannot handle those high speeds .

I'm wondering if this snazzy UHS-II thing will work with the S7 to its fully rated speeds or whether the phone can only take advantage of UHS-I cards;

I don't believe it will take advantage of the faster UHS-II architecture as no sources I have found say the S7 has this capability. This card you referenced will still work, though, at the UHS-I U3 speed ratings (minimum of 30MB/sec write).

Does that 200 gb record 4k?

It will be able to keep up with 4K video recording, as all cards with a Class 10 rating will (minimum of 10MB/sec write).

This is a fake. The 256gb capacity cards are not out yet, and would be considerably more expensive.

If you want cost for performance the samsung pro 64gb you can't go wrong with it. If you don't care for price and want slightly faster speed you can get the samsung pro +. The fastest card is the sandisk extreme pro however i have heard that samsung has issues while using sandisk cards on several forums and I don't want to risk it.

The one linked below is the one I purchased, and I know the reviews say that they received a fake on, but Amazon sells this card directly, I called them and the rep assured me their Samsung IT department has checked their stock for fakes since the incident and followed up with this email.

The Samsung EVO+ is also a really good bang for the buck with great speeds and not at U3 prices.

Just make sure it's not the regular (orange) EVO card. That one is slower.

I think you should go with the regular pro, the read speed is slightly faster, and the write speed is a lot faster. very important for burst shots. Here is a reviewer on amazon who reviewed a bunch of sd cards
