My AT&T silver S7 edge got pushed back a month

I just got an email from at&t that my preorder is delayed

1 MONTH

Original ship by date 03/02-03/04
Next expected ship by date 04/03

This is for a silver s7edge, preordered a couple of minutes after pre orders opened up

Probably just a place holder to protect them from angry customers in case they're a day or two late.

Same boat. Went from shipping on 3/3 to 4/1. Now they gave up on a date and it just says back ordered. This is for the Silver S7 Edge.

Hopefully this is similar to Verizon where the date changes anywhere from 1858 to March 31st but then back again

Interesting I ordered on the 29th a Silver/Platinum S7 Edge - Just called ATT CS and they said my expected ship date is still 3/7 - 3/10 - I checked my email that has the check my order tab and it says the same

I wonder if the Silver is delayed, seems all ordered that color.

I just looked online and my Gold still says shipping 3/7 - 3/10.

My order still says 3/7 expected ship. I wonder if it is because I went into a smaller, non-busy store? My pre-order was the first one for them.

Just checked mine still says preparing to ship by the seventh. I ordered the black s7 edge.

For anyone that wasn't also checking out the Verizon post: the ship date went back to 3/11 for anyone who pre-ordered the silver phone before 3/1. None of the other colors were affected. The date of the 1st may be different here but I imagine it will be a similar thing. Anyone who pre-ordered on the first day at least will probably be safe. Also anyone who ordered black or gold shouldn't have to worry as it seems the silver is the only one with a shortage.

You will be able to pick it up at the store on 3/11..typically AT&T reserve phones for stores roll out..if the pre order is better than anticipated they will take away the pre order phones and allocate them to the stores so that they can launch on a timely manner
