Generally you don't get a good idea of battery life until you've gone through a few charge cycles. Just to share what it's been like on my first cycle, I figured I'd share some screens (and give others the same opportunity).

I'm on AT&T (WiFi at work all day so far). Light browsing, Facebook and Twitter pretty heavily, with my Moto 360 synced. Here you go so far.

Not sure why both these didn't post in the first post, but okay.

So about 5hrs SoT not bad for a first charge, it will probably get a bit better as you use the device for a few days.

Could possibly be a little more than that considering the first 20-30% drain faster until it stabilizes. I would imagine high 4's/low 5's being a consistent for me if it stays like this. Zero complaints about that.

Do you have to drain the battery and then give it a full charge, or is it cool to just do whatever straight out of the box?

are you using Wireless charging? if so, can you tell us if it does that annoying thing where it beeps and the screen lights up when the battery is full? My Note 4used to do that

Depends on who you ask. I generally use the 60% they give you on average, but don't let it die. I generally don't let my battery get below 20%.

And yes, I have the fast wireless charging pad from Samsung, but no, I didn't hear it beep. My guess is that it does do that, though.

No, go ahead and charge it. Wisdom varies, but I still think its a good idea to go from full to 20-30% and recharge to 100% the first 4-5 charges. After that feel free to top it off at will. Li-ion batteries do not develop a memory like old Ni-Cads did and life will be prolonged by never fully discharging the battery.

I completely understand. Thanks for the advice. Waiting for UPS right now.

Heading towards the end of the work day. Threw in about 20 minutes of YouTube (thanks, MKBHD) and more Twitter/Facebook. Messed around with the camera a little, too. Always-On display has been on from the beginning.

Edit: Second time I uploaded two pictures and the app only posts one. Total time off charger for that was 8 hours and 38 minutes.

Here's my first full "active day" of use. This is off the 3rd full charge cycle. Not very happy with the results, but I will be patient because it can't be worse than my S6.

Dude 10 hours of SoT is great. Most reviews rank it at 9.5 hours of SoT, so that seems legit for using heavy. Even my iPhone 6Plus only gets about 8hrs and it's very efficient.

Never mind, just realized it will be about 7 hrs after looking at your screenshots closer... I notice Bluetooth absolutely kills the battery. Any way you can disable when not in your car or whatever?
