Frustrated with my S7 Edge

Just received it today.
I moved contacts, app to the S7 edge and then I realize I haven't setup the finger prints screen lock yet as I skip it on the initial setup.
I then follow the instruction and finish the setup but then I realize I still able to swipe to unlock the phone and finger print won't work.
I tried other security setting like PIN/Swipe/Password.
None of them work.

Restart the device, factory reset all doesn't work at all.
The phone even hangs for a bit...

I'm so excited that I'm able to get my hand on it today but I'm really frustrated at this point as I already spent 3 hours+ to figure what the hell is wrong with the device? Is it a faulty device or Samsung is actually letting me down once again?

My phone was pre-ordered from AT&T.
I'm been waiting in the technical support queue for almost an hour.
Samsung technical support is not available as well.
Could anyone please advise?

Lock screen and security>Secure Lock settings>Secured Lock time>Instantly when power key.

Should fix it.

This happened to me, I set up fingerprint and pattern yet it still unlocked without the need for them.

What I did solved the issue.
Went back to the setting removed me fingerprints and my pattern lock. Then restarted my phone and went back set up fingerprint prints then other lock option.
