    I'm getting random colours on my screen. I can take screen shots and photos while it's doing this and it's not in them, so its a visual screen issue. Seems like a video card type error? Is anyone else having this problem?

    My first guess would be a hardware issue. If you are within the exchange/return period, I'd take it straight back where you bought it and see if they can replace it from store stock. That's the easiest for you and them.

    However, a factory reset can't hurt. Something like that is not likely to be a software issue but it's possible.

    During video playback only, I get green and black dots. It doesn't happen all the time, but I have noticed it in YouTube and while while watching March Madness using that app. I've watched previews of movies through the Google Play store and did not experience it.     I would take it back and try to exchange it. I've not had any problems like this on my unit.

    Well I woke up this morning, It was even worse just about unreadable.
    10 minutes later the screen is now black and just will not show anything.
    Will have to wait until tomorrow to take it back to the shop as its a easter public holiday today.
    So looks like you guys are right with hardware failure.

    If I did a screen shot like you have and it would not show up in the screen shot.
    Thats why I had to take photos of it.
    I would think its a different issue.

    I cant see anything on the screen anymore to even do a reset.
    It still receives messages so its working in that sense just no screen anymore.
    If I tap the power button I get a flash of green thats about it on the screen.
