All of a sudden today my lockscreen shortcuts are no longer showing on the lock screen. They are set to be on in the settings. I've tried turning them off and on again, changing the icons, rebooting the device a few times and nothing. Had anyone else had this happen on their device? It's very odd.

No issues here (T-Mobile Phone). Did you change any security setting in your lockscreen? Have you tried switching lockscreen methods and see if that brings it back?

Didn't change anything in settings and tried changing lock screen methods and did not work either. It's a very odd thing. They just disappeared. Even tried changing themes for the heck of it and nothing.

What about changing the app each shortcut opens? Does it happen in Safe Mode as well?

Tried changing the shortcuts as well but did not change anything. How do I access safe mode?

This is for T-Mo's version, but it should be the same for all variants.

(Basically turn on, at the Samsung logo, press and hold Volume Down until it boots into Safe Mode).

Are the apps installed on an SD card, by any chance?

I had the same problem as well. I reset the settings (NOT a factory reset) using this method: How to return settings to default on the Galaxy S7 | Android Central and that fixed the problem for me.

You do have to go back and set up wifi, bluetooth, ringtones, etc, but all your account settings are kept.
