S7 Edge / 2016 GMC Intellilink / Android Auto

I had the update done last week and my S7 edge phone doesn't want to connect to the "projection" app.

Anybody get the Android Auto update for the GMC Intellink and is it working?

I'm having the exact same issue with a brand new 2016 Sierra Denali with a Galaxy S7 and Android auto only works about 50% of the time the other part of the time projection just acts like it's not even connected. I would love to find a resolution to this!
