My wife and I went to the gun range...and she was taking pics behind me at the same pace i was shooting. She actually captured the bullet coming out of the gun. Zoom in a little.

Crazy.

Given how bullets travel at really fast speeds, this is an amazing shot.

Probably a great demonstration of the speedy dual-pixel autofocus.

I don't see it. Maybe that's because the shutter speed is longer than it takes the bullet to travel the entire distance. You'd need a shutter speed of about 1/20,000 and a strobe.

Its dark spot inside the muzzle flash and to the right a bit.

If you start the shutter prior to the firing of the gun then it's entirely possible. Which is why the timing is special.

Looks like a Glock 43? Glock is notorious for the large muzzle blast. My daily carry is an M&P 9c. That throws some powder back in the face as well.

The pistol on the table is my Glock 19. In the pic I am shooting my father-in-laws Beretta Nano 9mm.

Nice picture OP. As the saying goes, the best camera is the one that's with you.
This should settle the phone camera debate once and for all.
