    I have an android samsung 7edge. It came with and addapter that has a USB port at other end of scanner. Would like to connect usb to my scanner and scan documents.

    The problem with that is that scanners generally require some software running on the device they're connected to. The software tells the scanner when to start and stop, what resolution to scan in, etc., and converts the bits that come from the scanner into a usable file. That software is generally specific to the brand of scanner in use. The S7 doesn't have any built-in scanner software (as far as I can tell). So unless the manufacturer of your scanner has software that will run on an Android phone, I think the answer is "no"
