I am considering getting my first real android phone. i have been using ios forever but i am tired of Apples death grip on telling me how to use the device, and as i understand it android lets you kind of do whatever you want. someone can confirm or deny this.

My main question is SKype. I run a business entirely through skype, is it possible to send and receive large files on an android phone? for example lets say Person A sends me a 1 gig file, stores it to my device, then i drag and drop that file to person B.

Is this possible on an android phone or the Gs7e?

How far away are you from the other person? A cloud based service would allow all phones to do this.

I found this VERY OLD thread about it:

It would be worth emailing Skype about though if that feature is that important for you.
