Me, too. Purchased phone a few months ago and Always on Display worked great. I thought it was a nifty app. It starts out brightly but then soon becomes too dim to read. The whole purpose is defeated since I have to press the power button to see the time and date.

I've looked and looked for the app to uninstall it but don't see how. What a shame.

Uninstall the update. It seems to be happening to everyone.
Not having this issue as long as I don't try to use a picture with mine from my phone. The Note 7s was slightly brighter. I've let Samsung Mobile know about it on twitter. Their adding bug fixes to the Nouget Update for the S7 and S7 Edge. I think they will fix this issue with the Nouget Update. They know about it.

I tested the functionality of the "Always On" display dimming, but taking it in and out of a light room and dark room. The display samples the ambient light and either dims or brightens accordingly. But it only samples once a minute, when the minute on the clock advances to the next minute.
