    Nope. I popped it in. Connected to wi-fi and it recognizes the AT&T branding. I get all of the updates. So, in essence, I just paid the price of the sim. That was it. I heard about it on another thread in the LG forums a while back when I wasn't getting updates. Resolved all of my update issues.

    Got the sim last night and popped it in and checked for update, still said up to date. Left it in overnight hoping it would try and pick it up but it didn't. Will try again tonight after my 24 hrs is up and leave the sim in longer before checking

    When you first power the phone on, do you get an AT&T logo in the upper left hand corner of the screen? This part is important because the means it identifies with the AT&T network. If not, you might need to activate a plan (albeit the most minimum allowed for a smart phone). That would be the only thing else I can think of. Again, I have never paid a cent other than the initial purchase, but mine came with a basic plan, so maybe that's the difference?

    Yea it shows at&t in the corner. I might even try to re-enable all the rest of the at&t bloatware and try again tonight from an at&t wifi spot

    As a former AT&T Note 5 owner (which I believe still doesn't have Marshmallow) I'm shocked. That phone went from the October patch to March patch. It's one of the reasons I couldn't do the S7e

    Apparently, I'm not getting this update. Has everyone gotten this update or are others still not getting it pushed to there phone? I have checked everyday since the update was announced.
