no notifications/alerts overnight.

hi, i've been having this problem while i charge my phone overnight here & there where i dont get any alerts and my alarms don't go off until i wake up and check my phone. seems like all activation is cut off from the phone until it is woken up. this has a cause me to wake up late a few times...has this happened to anyone else or know of a setting i need to turn off or on?

Check your power savings setting, if it is on for any reason it will not update or receive notifications...but the alarm??

There's no reason I can think of but a defective phone. I almost NEVER get notifications after 11 PM or before 8 or 9 AM (I'm retired) but that's because there are none. But my alarms go off - the earliest I've set it to was 5 AM, but it went off.
