    Your phone has multiple core CPU. Single core score is the score for only 1 core running, while the multicore is the score for having all cores running.

    And the cores are also asymmetric... both the Snapdragon and Exynos versions both have two clusters of processors; one for high power loads, one optimized for more efficient loads (but is less powerful). That's why the multi score isn't 8500 or so...
