SD Card Android Folder?

Anyone know why my SD Card is being filled with files from this folder called Android? It just popped up today. My sd card strictly just held photos from on my phone. Seems this folder is an exact duplicate of the Android Folder on the internal storage. When I delete all the files in the SD card, they immediately start returning. It seems to be filled with lots of cache files? Is this some sort of new backup system, I don't want then on my sd card. Anyone else notice this?

I watched the SD card rise from 1.02 gigs to 1.41 in a matter of minutes. Wtf!!

The phone will always place system files on any SD card placed in the phone. Like you have found, if you delete them, they will come back. You can't avoid this.

Oh really? So weird because when I first got the phone and installed the card it never stored any system files on it. And of a sudden today it did. Never tweaked any settings to engage this process. Anyways thanks for the info, was just curious
