What am i doing wrong? When i search online about low light shooting with the camera its obvious quality should be great but i am getting really grainy blurred pictures. I cant seem to get good clean sharp photos.

Have you tried tapping the screen to see if the blurry photos will readjust with the new focus? I would play around with the different camera modes to see which one you like best. Dumb question, but your camera lens, etc are clean and free of dust?

Its all clean, yesterday the photos i was trying to get were of my son bowling. Main lights were out in the building, but it wasnt excessively dark. Other light sources were present. The face detection was working so it obviously picked up his face and im presuming it should then autofocus on his face.

Heres a pic so you can see the quality, couldnt get any better, but i wasnt tapping the screen.

Tap a dark area in the frame to set the exposure. You'll actually see the proposed image look brighter before you actually take the photograph. If the photo ends up being too bright (e.g., faces are blown out), then tap on a brighter spot in your frame to readjust the exposure and retake the photo.
