Come to think of it, don't a lot of phones get warm under sustained use?

On my former daily LG G4, for example, the processor once went above 158 degrees during sustained use. The battery was just shy of 105 degrees, but it was still hot enough to make the top portion of the screen pretty darn toasty, to the point where touching it for more than a second was almost uncomfortable.

And yes, the heat was one of the reasons why I'm no longer using it as my daily. I know phones get warm under sustained use, but if it gets pretty hot while it's in my pocket, then we have a problem.

Mine gets hot, around 40°C if I use:

    1) Google Photos app to stream content to Chromecast.

    2) Using the phone when Google Play updates my apps (not when I select an app to install, but when I go click 'Update All')

I just can't understand how Google can let this slip or otherwise it could very well be Samsung's issue.

And, when I used Samsung Good Lock lock screen, my phone was always warm.

    Anybody else seeing similar issues?

Mine gets hot every time when updating all. I've also don't understand why it can only download and install the apps one at a time. On windows phone it would download one, start installing, then download the next app and so on. You didnt have to wait for an app to completely install before it started downloading the next one
