Screen staying on

I've got my screen time out set at 30 seconds but it's just staying on. I did notice that when making calls, the screen goes dark when the phone is put to my face. So I don't think it's the sensor. Any help would be appreciated.

You know, stupid me. Whenever my friends have a device problem, I always recommend a reboot. May if I practice what I preach, I wouldn't have posted in the forums. So I rebooted, PROBLEM SOLVED. thanks.
