    I had the same problem. To fix it,I had to clear the cache and then select my city again. Make sure you have the location service on. I had it off by default to save battery and I think it triggered the error. Hope this helpsyou.

    Welcome to Android Central! Try going to the App Manager, select Weather, and Clear Cache/Clear Data.

    Welcome to Android Central! Go to Settings>App Manager, select the Weather app, tap Storage, then Clear Cache.
