SAMSUNG on my screen is displayed
my s7 edge has been reset after I failed on fingerprint security. It now SAMSUNG on the screen and I cannot power it off or do anything with it,,,, any assistance

Welcome to Android Central! Are you certain it did a factory reset?

Try forcing a shutdown by pressing and holding Power and Vol Down together for about 15-20 seconds. Then try powering on normally.

You can try plugging it into a computer with smart switch program on it though I'm not sure that would work. The other day mine froze up and it wouldn't reset until I held down power and volume down for 10+ seconds and then it rebooted normally.
