Set text notification sound to contact

I was able to set a different text notification to different contacts on the note 5.

I have the Canadian version.

Select contact under Contacts. Click edit. There's a line that says "More" click it. Scroll down till you see "Message Tone" viola.

Posting this in case someone else is unable to assign different text tones to various contacts.

On my note 5 I could do it in the contacts app. Very simple and made sense. It's different with the s7e bell version.

Now I have to:
-go into messages (I use stock app)
- tap on contact profile pic or letter
- click edit
- go all the way to the bottom and click more
- then you'll see message tone. Click it and you can change it.

Different topic but I was trying to help my friend who just got the 7Edge and I forgot how and don't want to start a new thread but how do you make the circle favorites in the text app at the top? I forgot how!

You have to add priority senders that will put your contacts in the circles above the messenger app
