Google play services stay awake time

Recently I've been getting high stay awake time for Google play services. I uninstalled updates yesterday, rebooted, then reinstalled and it seemed much better but today it's back to the top of the list with high stay awake time. Anyone got the same and any idea how to fix? Thanks

You could try clearing your cache partition. Maybe something is getting hung up somewhere.

What Play Services version do you have? I had a similar problem with a process keeping my phone awake and Play Services was my main suspect. I tried different things and the problem was back after a little while. It was fixed on its own a couple of days ago and I think the Play Services received an update. My actual version is 9.2.56. Also, check your Play Store version, mine is 6.7.20.

Also, even with a pretty solid awake bar the battery drain wasn't much for me, about 2-3℅. Are you getting a big drain?

This could be normal behaviour based on what you are doing like GPS locating, notifications, etc.
