Which screen-off setting am I seeing?

I have all the settings turned off for the always-on and notification displays... Basically, I have to hit the home or power button to be able to see the display.

However, I've found that when I take the edge of my shirt to wipe the screen back and forth, I get info on one of the edges of the screen (battery and such) while the rest of the display remains blank. Does anyone else see this? What is it?

Hello! I believe this is a feature of the edge screen. You can get notifications on the edge by swiping the edge a couple of times. If you want to turn this off, I think the option is in the edge screen settings.
