WiFi Calling Icon not showing AT&T

I have a s7 edge with at&t with the latest update. 6.0.1
I am trying to enable wifi calling and the setting icon is not even there. I have tried going to phone/settings and there should be a wifi calling option right under the vibrate option, it is also not there. My wife has the exact same phone under my plan and hers works great so I know it is possible. Anyone have any info on this?

Check under Advanced Calling in the settings.

I dont have the advanced calling option....I think this is only available on Verizon ??

My security patch is May 1, 2016 - how do I update this? when I do the updates on the phone it says all are up to date... thanks

You should have gotten the July update. That's why you don't have Wi-Fi calling.
Go to settings>system>about device>software update.
If AT&T is your carrier, the update is available.

Thanks but again I did that and it shows I am current. I even tried doing an update with smart switch it says up to date as well.

any ideas ?

Go to the closest AT&T service center and have them update it for you. You're two months behind on security updates.

I am opening phone settings by clicking settings> application>phone
But there is no option as wifi calling.
But it is showing the option in notification panel..
And its not working..

Go into the phone app. Select "more" upper right corner. Select "settings". Scroll down to "wi - fi calling".
This has nothing to do with the OS settings.
If the selection is not available, it is probably due to your carrier.
