    How do i fix this? Is ATT this slow in releasing the update. Is anyone still waiting in the queue?

    Maybe they're rolling out the update slowly? If there is, indeed, an update available, you can take it to a Best Buy and go to their Samsung Experience areas; they can update it for you.

    My understanding is the update is going to hit Europe first. I have Verizon and I haven't received the update either.

    Shouldn't be. Encryption doesn't affect updates. Is she using an AT&T SIM?
